G protein-coupled receptor

Reported by cailynn johnson | March 14th, 2024 @ 03:40 AM

G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) test kits are available to identify or quantify the activation of GPCRs on cell surfaces. GPCRs are involved in a wide range of biological activities, such as metabolism, inflammation, immunology, and development. They are extensively researched as therapeutic targets because they are also connected to numerous disease processes. cAMP quantification and β-arrestin recruitment are two examples of indirect GPCR-related activities that can be measured by GPCR assays. The impact of agonists and antagonists, cell metabolism, and cell signaling can all be studied using GPCR test kits.
