Creative Biolabs is offering a series of high-quality ether lipids for biological research. Unlike other phospholipids, ether lipids are peroxisome-derived glycerophospholipids with an ether bond between the glycerol backbone and the hydrocarbon chain rather than an ester bond. The simple biochemical change made ether lipids different in structure and functions.
